We, the professional men and women of the Colleton County Sheriff’s Office are empowered to defend the Constitution of the United States and the State of South Carolina.  We will adhere to the policies and orders of the Colleton County Sheriff’s Office.  We will fairly and diligently enforce the laws, bringing to justice those who violate them and provide safe secure housing for all offenders charged and remanded to the custody of the Detention Center.  We will strive to improve the quality of life by reducing crime and the fear of crime through a dedicated partnership with the community by supporting and becoming innovative through Crime Prevention and dedication in suppressing drug offenders.  As public servants we will be constantly reminded of our fiscal responsibility and accountability to all citizens regarding the daily operations of this office. We will provide county wide service to all communities regardless of race, religion, gender, or economic well being.
